First things first. I never get tired of getting a new lipstick. Lipstick can brighten any dark day or add to a happy one.
Years ago, I’d have one or two lipsticks usually in a coral shade and I’d use them up before buying a new one. Can you believe that? Since those days, I seem to have accumulated quite a collection of lipstick, and this isn’t even all of it, lol!
Several weeks ago, I was introduced to a new brand of lipstick, Runway Rogue by Patricia Hartmann. Hartmann was a ’90s supermodel, who wanted to share the fabulous feeling she felt each time she sat in the makeup artist’s chair.

She decided to focus her brand on lips, crafting a limited edition collection of lipsticks, glosses and pencils that are oh-so easy to wear because of the hydrating oils and beneficial extracts they contain. The finishes range from matte to satin to glossy, and the shades run from neutral to bright. There is something for everyone in this collection.
Runway Rogue also takes a playful approach to selecting colors and forms. They suggest “shopping by attitude”, and you can choose from Sassy, Playful, Fun, Professional, Naural, and Bold – kind of a unique way to find your new favorites!
I received several Runway Rogue lip products to try out, and I must say I am super impressed! They are insanely comfortable to wear, the packaging is great, and the colors really suit me. Also, they are fragrance-free and have no taste. Yes! They’re also gluten-free and cruelty-free.
Lipstick
I have to talk about the lipstick packaging in particular. The substantial grey metallic case is amazing. When you take the top off and then replace it, it sort of feels like a magnet is guiding the top back into place, and I hear a satisfying click so I know it is going to stay put. I just love it!
I received two shades:
- Stilettos: a red-orange shade that is perfect for me (They call it bright red with coral undertones, but to me it’s Tropicana orange!)
- After Party: a bold grape shade that I am going to giveaway in this post!
Stilettos is a satin shade with stunning color pay-off. If I’m not in a good mood, I put on Stilettos, and I immediately feel better!
Plus it contains lots of hydrating ingredients, described below by Runway Rogue:
- Jojoba Oil to hydrate and soften the skin without clogging your pores!
- Safflower Oil to enrich your lips with hydrating vitamin E!
- Aloe Vera to sooth and hydrate your pout!
- Vitamin E to combat free radicals with potent antioxidants!
- Green Tea Extract to rejuvenate skin with anti-aging properties and polyphenols for sebum control!
- White Tea Extract to hydrate your pout with anti-aging compounds that promote longer moisture retention for skin!
- Chamomile Extract to soothe your lips!
Lots of exclamation points, but they’re not exaggerating, Stilettos feels great on my often dry lips. In addition, it lacks the not-so-good stuff, so you can feel good about wearing it: Paraben-free, Talc-free, Sulfate-free, Gluten-free, has non-comedogenic ingredients, and Cruelty Free.
Although it’s not specifically a long wear lipstick, I get several hours of wear before needing to reapply. It doesn’t make a mess on a glass which is nice.
After Party is described by Runway Rogue as “deep midnight purple”. It is part of the Bold range, and it certainly is gorgeous! A vampy shade that would be so great to wear at night to a party or during the day if grape is your shade. After Party is a matte shade, but it contains the same hydrating ingredients as Stilettos listed above, so I’m assuming that it’s a breeze to wear too.

The lipsticks come in 8 shades, 4 matte/4 satin, and are priced at $21.
Lipgloss
Lipgloss can be a hit or miss thing, but I am so impressed with Runway Rogue’s glosses. I received two of them:
- Perfect Pout: a translucent red-orange that is a terrific topper to add a glossy sheen to Stilettos or to wear alone for a MLBB look
- Runway Red: an opaque bright red that I like to wear alone.
The glosses come in pretty silvery tube with a long thin window that shows you the color of the gloss and also lets you know how much you’ve got left in the tube. Very nice. Inside is a thin, doe foot wand that makes application so easy.
The gloss itself is thick but not sticky. After a minute or so, it dries down and makes my lips feel soothed and protected. My hair doesn’t get stuck in it which is a huge plus.
The glosses contain the same hydrating ingredients as the lipsticks. It’s a pleasure to wear on my often dry lips.
Comes in 7 shades from nudes to brights. Price $19.
Pencil
The pencil I got is Cover Shoot, a bright orange-pink. Though the website says it should be paired with their lipstick, Photo-Op, I find that it works well with Stilettos. Although the pencil is matte, it’s creamy and easy to apply.
There are 5 smudge and water-resistant matte shades that coordinate with the lipsticks. They contain hydrating jojoba oil to make them non-drying. Price $18.
